Is this official historic heraldry?
No. Crest & Co. creates original fantasy-inspired House identities and personalised keepsakes. It does not claim to grant official arms or prove ancestry.
Do I have to make my House public?
No. Hall of Houses listing is optional and off by default. Public House features only apply when the owner chooses to use them.

Royal Mail — Crest & Co. standard
UK: Royal Mail Tracked 48. Royal Mail states an aim of 2–3 working days, tracking to delivery point, photo on delivery, recipient notifications for online postage and compensation cover under its current terms.
International: Royal Mail International Tracked. Royal Mail states delivery aims of 3–5 working days in Europe and 5–7 working days worldwide for tracked services, with compensation under its current terms. For USA / Canada, Crest & Co also offers a lower-cost untracked International Standard option for the A4 Charter.
Evri — customer request
UK: Evri Standard. Evri states an aim of 2–3 working days from drop-off/collection, with parcel tracking.
International: Evri states its international network covers 200+ countries, with a stated 3–7 working-day delivery time and tracking under its current service terms.
Crest & Co. delivery charges
UK Printed House Charter delivery is free. Framed and international checkout charges are based on the current carrier bands we researched in August 2026, plus the different size/packing requirements of a framed order. Carrier retail tariffs can change and international Evri prices can vary with volumetric weight.

How fulfilment works
1. Personalise: build your House Charter and optional reference artwork in the House Forge.
2. Choose delivery: select your destination region and delivery service before checkout. USA / Canada customers can choose low-cost Standard or upgrade to Tracked.
3. Pay securely: Stripe collects payment and the delivery address. Crest & Co. never asks you to email card details.
4. Production: your bespoke design is prepared. Typical production is 2–4 working days before dispatch. Carrier delivery estimates start only once it has been dispatched.
5. Track: tracked services are used for physical orders. Carrier availability can change; if a selected service becomes unavailable for your exact destination after purchase, Crest & Co. will contact you before an alternative is used.
International customs
International orders may be subject to import VAT, customs duty, handling charges or local taxes imposed by the destination country. These are normally the recipient’s responsibility and customs processing can extend delivery time. The checkout shipping fee covers carriage, not destination-country taxes or duties unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Personalised orders & returns
House Charters are personalised/custom-made goods. UK rules generally treat personalised or custom-made goods differently from standard change-of-mind returns. However, your statutory rights remain: goods must still be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose.
If something arrives faulty, damaged or materially not as described, contact Crest & Co. We will work to put it right.
If you spot a spelling or personalisation error after checkout, contact us as soon as possible. If production has not started, we will try to correct it.
Delivery
Shipping options and costs are shown before Stripe checkout. Physical goods are made to order. Typical production is 2–4 working days before dispatch. Carrier delivery aims begin after dispatch, and international customs can add time.
If you need a Charter for a fixed date, contact Crest & Co. before ordering so you can decide whether the available timeframe works for you.
Privacy & payment
Payment, billing email and delivery address are collected through secure Stripe checkout. Crest & Co. does not ask customers to email card details.
The site also uses first-party analytics for broad usage information such as page visits, device type and progress through the Forge. The customiser itself does not require an account.
