WHY I CREATED CREST & CO.

Bringing Houses together.

The Charter is only the cover. Your House is the story.

THE IDEA

I wanted the product to be the beginning, not the end.

I created Crest & Co. because a name can mean more when people choose what it stands for together. A House can be a family, a couple, friends, a gaming group, a LARP faction or simply the people who have decided they belong to one another.

The Charter gives that House a first physical page: a name, sigil, motto, colours and story. But I never wanted the Charter to be a one-off print that disappears into a drawer. The wider idea is to give each House somewhere to exist, grow and be remembered.

That is why the Hall of Houses matters. It turns a finished Charter into an optional public place with a number, crest, motto and Notice Board. Over time the House can gain stories, photographs, milestones, keepsakes and eventually a Chronicle of its own.

What you leave behind should mean something.

WHAT A HOUSE CAN BE

Not ancestry. Identity.

Family

A shared symbol, motto and record for the family you have now — without pretending a surname automatically has an official historic coat of arms.

Friendship

Chosen family counts. A House can represent the people who have stood beside one another, travelled together or built years of memories.

Adventure

Gaming groups, LARP factions and fantasy fans can build an identity around their own story rather than buying another generic dragon or sword product.

The House should outlive the checkout.

A physical Charter can start the story. The Hall, Notice Board and future Chronicle features are there to make the House useful after the parcel arrives.
